The Costa Vacations team is made up of locals who live and breath the Costa del Sol. Some were born and bred here, others relocated from a neighbouring Spanish region…but many travelled far and wide to call the Costa del Sol home.

Sunshine, mid to high temperatures year round and the seemingly endless amount of golden beaches dotted along the coastline admittedly make it an easy place to love…but the innately relaxed lifestyle that characterises Spain is imprinted in every fabric of its rich culture and environment, and we at Costa Vacations truly consider the Costa del Sol to be one of the most beautiful places in the world!

In 2015, the Costa del Sol attracted 10.6 million visitors, breaking the previous record of 10.2 million in 2014. Malaga airport also announced recently that 14.4 million passengers passed through in 2015, up by 4.8% since 2014. Amazing, considering the population of Malaga is just under 1.7 million.

The New York Times even selected Malaga as one of 52 places to go to in 2016!

Although the Costa del Sol is recognized world wide as a beach and summer holiday haven (and it is!) the region of Andalucia has such a diverse landscape and is so culturally unique that there really is an array of ways to occupy your time in every season.
